We need WISDOM. The world is in a “hot mess”! We need to pray for the wisdom and the peace of God as we go through these turbulent times.
I would like to challenge you to read one chapter daily from Proverbs for the entire month. There are thirty-one (31) chapters. As you read daily, I encourage you to pray for wisdom. See below, Proverbs 1: 1-6.
Look specifically at verse 3 “to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity”. And reflect upon the myriad of social issues that are causing significant spiritual, emotional, and mental health concerns all over the world.
As I read this chapter, I pray fervently that I will apply this chapter to my life and how I relate to others. I pray to be wise and equitable. What about you? Blessings
1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:
2 To know wisdom and instruction,
to understand words of insight,
3 to receive instruction in wise dealing,
in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6 to understand a proverb and a saying,
the words of the wise and their riddles.
