A New Day Dawning
I John 3
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of
God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Romans 13
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation
nearer than when we believed.
Revelation 6
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were
moved out of their places.
Mark 13
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
The scripture teaches of a time when some shall awake to everlasting joy, and some will awake to shame and everlasting contempt. How wonderful will it be to be one of the ransomed and redeemed? How wonderful will it be to bring many to righteousness? How wonderful will it be in the regeneration? Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to Father but by Him. Two of the most beautiful hymns ever written and put to music are Rock of Ages and When the Roll is Called up Yonder. One of the lyrics of the first goes something like…through the water and the blood from His wounded side did flow, be for sin the double cure, cleanse my heart and make me pure. The second goes something like…. On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise and the morning breaks eternal bright and fair, when the saved of earth are gathered over on the other shore and the roll is called up yonder… Jesus taught when asked when the kingdom of God should come, that the kingdom of God cometh not with observation. Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is within you. Amazing how wonderful the love of God and the peace of God. Amazing how wonderful to see the flowers in spring and hear the birds sing as they drink water from His hand. Furthermore, how amazing to see and hear how a persons life made new and clean and spring forth by being born again of water and of the Spirit by believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Just think of the splendor in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump in the eternal presence of the Almighty the one who died for us. The presence of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Imagine knowing that you will always have everlasting joy and everlasting life has become a reality.
Daniel 12:3
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 51:11
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
