Is there even a demand for sexual purity programs within the Church? More than most might think. A recent study revealed that:
60-70% of men, 50-58% of pastors, and 20-30% of women
in evangelical churches suffer from some form of sexual addiction [1].
Conquer Series by KingdomWorks is a Bible-based, state-of-the-art, cinematic sexual purity program that is teaching men how to break free of porn and other sexual sins [2]. Scripture, neuroscience, and cinema have merged to create a professional, intellectually engaging, biblical teaching tool to help Christians win the battle against the flesh. As of this writing, KingdomWorks rightly boasts of having helped more than 2 million men heal. God is being glorified. And the Church is being edified. Well done, KingdomWorks!
BIBLE-BASED
Conquer Series by KingdomWorks is unashamedly Bible-based and Christ-centered. The Holy Scriptures are cited throughout in support of its Tools to Conquer.
NEUROSCIENCE-BASED
Conquer Series helps men to understand the neurology of sexual addiction. While it almost always begins as a moral problem, porn/sex addiction is also very much a brain problem. Conquer Series explains how the brain is changed in the addictive process, and why “trying harder” doesn’t work. It then teaches men practical, neuroscience-based methods for reprogramming the brain.
ACCOUNTABILITY-BASED
Accountability is key to healing in the Conquer Series Battle Plan. Viewers are reminded that they cannot win this battle alone. If it is to be successful, an accountability partner/group must be part of the recovery program. In support of this position, Scripture passages encouraging the confession of sin to a fellow Christian are cited (e.g., Galatians 6:1-2, James 5:16). As are the added benefits of building community and stronger churches.
“BUT …,” SAY THE 83 PERCENT
Unquestionably, accountability-based sexual purity programs work. But there are so many more that could possibly be helped. Most persons wanting to break free of porn are not seeking the help of an accountability partner/group. One survey puts the number at a whopping 83% [3].
“ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP NOT REQUIRED” OPTIONS
Many more could possibly be helped if a battle plan for purity could be developed that does not require enlisting the aid of an accountability partner or group. It is my hope and prayer that “Accountability Group Not Required” options will one day be added to accountability-based purity programs. But until that day comes, the Way of Escape Battle Plan is the best available “Accountability Group Not Required” option.
A GAME-CHANGING BOOK HAS ARRIVED
In A Way of Escape, readers learn how to step up the degree to which they “walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16). They learn how to build a library of Spirit-anointed, flesh-diffusing apps. Apps that are uniquely fitted to them, and their unique Spirit-filling triggers.
The still-struggling now have another option. The still-struggling now have fresh hope for discovering that long-sought-after way of escape from sin and temptation (I Corinthians 10:13). A way that—because it is wholly Spirit-powered—does not require enlisting the aid of an accountability partner or group. Truly, a game-changer!
