Are You Afraid?

Fear is running rampant throughout the world. At one time or another, we have all been afraid. Growing in a housing project in New Orleans, I lived with fear daily. “Mama encouraged me each time to pray and not be afraid. I remember thinking that if someone broke into it, I would not have time to pray. The only so-called weapon in our home was a big black pitchfork”. (from my book _Once There Was a Girl: A Memoir_ now available on Amazon) Isaiah 41:10 encourages us to “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you,…” Pray and fear not!
