The Christian walk is a journey. The journey to truth through Jesus Christ is a process of growth but especially a walk of peaks and valleys. It is a life of overcoming many things. We are in a time of so much confusion. The truth is found in the Bible and our opinions aren’t the source of truth.
Because of all the noise from everybody’s opinions, it can seem hard to find the truth. I am sure some are afraid to speak the truth in the word of God because of all the backlash and confusing opinions. There are so many podcasts and so many avenues for people to put their opinions on video and social media. If someone is searching for the truth and they are looking for it from the public opinion arena, it is quite unlikely to find truth from public opinion.
The word of God will set us free from all the confusion and public opinions. We are to seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to us. The word of God will destroy strongholds in our mind which are lies that have been built up overtime in our thoughts. The word of God will heal the wounded soul. The word of God will set us free from addictions and disease when we apply our faith to it. Discouragement is of Satan, and Satan wants us to feel hopeless and helpless. The word of God will break these bondages. Public opinion will not break any bondages but bring us into bondage to following other people’s opinions.
I became free when I went to God and told Him I didn’t understand why certain things happen. This became the beginning of my truth journey as God unraveled lies but more importantly brought me truth that I never knew. The Bible says we are destroyed for lack of knowledge and that was me. I had such a lack of spiritual knowledge. I listened to what others told me instead of going right to God and asking Him what He had to say. Going to the source of truth is where you will find your answers in life. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I came to the end of myself and went right to God and asked Him questions, and He answered me through His word. I didn’t gain freedom from seeking anyone’s opinion but asked God to show me the truth. His word says, ask and it will be given you.
