The sound of cries and intimidation are ever so eminent in a time where uncertainty becomes the status quo. The fight for justice becomes the cause for the masses who are brave enough to make a formidable stand. As admirable as integrity appears it comes with a price, that not many are willing to pay. However, all around us there are various sounds and voices calling for more than what has been given. A rhythm beats in our hearts for truth because lies and deceit have torn our world apart. They have destroyed the moral fabric of families and decayed societies to unrecognisable shreds.
When you carefully take a look around there are pieces of what was once a woven community of people who served, who cared, who loved, respected and were human enough to feel another’s pain. However we have sadly become more and more self-centred. Whether or not this can be attributed to the renaissance, which makes one more aware of himself rather than the greater force at work is a keynote which cannot be ignored. The journey to this mess can be seen from different angles, and our views concerning such differ in so many ways, but all in all the mess itself cannot be denied.
In the midst of the storm there is a noise rumbling, there are echoes of mercy, there are melodies and harmonies in distant lands. Brokenness, lack, poverty, disease, crime and social upheavals have done much to suppress humanity but still there erupts an unprecedented wave of sounds from people all over the land. They may be detached and unfamiliar but together they come to give life and ignite hope in hearts pierced by injustice. However bad it seems all is not lost child and precious friend. There are a people who refuse to die, nor allow circumstances to keep them from being free and fully alive. In pain they cry but in hope they rise. In sickness they moan but in peace they pray. In sorrow they wail but in joy they give and keep giving despite all that has been taken, and what they have been robbed off. They refuse to throw in towel because they see the sun and the rainbow, the Son arising with healing in His wings.
Noises fill the air and the beauty lies in how they keeps us going forward. It’s a beautiful noise because there is no formula but it colours our landscape to quench the stench of evil trying to wipe out the human race.
Draw near to enjoy the sound and join in the harmonious roaring for a better day. The invitation is wide open for as many who would care to come.
Stay blessed
Love T
