Have you ever looked at a diamond up close? You can see it’s cut and how it is polished. The jeweler studies, chisels and polishes diamonds as his job. He cuts them to his preference. The cut of a diamond 💎 refers to it as the proportions, shape, size and polish. It’s value is determined from all that. In other words, it’s value is determined from the way the jeweler cuts it. ⚒ Man must intervene to make it more valuable than it was when it was found. This means it wasn’t worth enough the way it was found so the jeweler “improves” upon it to make it more valuable by our standards. When he finally places a value and price upon it, it is not as it was originally created. We are the same; the world chisels away at us to shape us. 💎Yet, God loves us and values us as we are. Our cut is the “God cut.” “For we are His workmanship…” “I am fearfully and wonderfully made..” 💝 A pearl is more valuable as it is found. It doesn’t need chiseling, just a good polishing. God loves us however He originally found us but He doesn’t leave us that way. He doesn’t chisel but polishes us until we are perfection. 💖” If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” 2 Cor. 5:17 We are a pearl to Him.
