The first attempt at summiting Mount Everest in 1921 was unsuccessful. Ten more expeditions followed, and Mount Everest won every time. It was only in 1950 with a new southern route discovery through Nepal that a successful summit of the highest peak on earth looked realistic.
Perhaps all that is needed is a change in route. A shift in perspective. A different way of looking at the challenges keeping us from making progress en route to our individual summits.
“Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ”
Jeremiah 29:12-13
