Sometimes, one of the most difficult daily things we have to do is collaborate with others. Everyone is different. We often criticize others for who they are. Those that are closest to us, the ones we love—a spouse, children, partners, friends, relatives, co-workers, neighbors, etc.—we often try to change them for what we think is good for them. In some ways, we may have a clear view of what we feel is good for them, because we’re outside looking in. BUT, we must allow them to be free to be who they are. That is love. Coaching and guiding others is great but, at the end of the day, we must embrace all our differences. Who are you trying to change today? Will you embrace who they are?
