Challenger Deep, the deepest point on earth, is deeper than Mount Everest, the highest mountain on earth, is high. If Mount Everest is submerged into the Mariana Trench and the summit touches the ocean’s lowest point, there will still be a mile of water above the mountain before the surface of the sea is reached.
“Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the great mountains;
Your judgements are a great deep;
O Lord, You preserve man and beast.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.”
Psalm 36:5-7
In nature, the extreme heights and depths fascinate many and often scare us when we get closer trying to reach these extremes. Let us put our complete trust in our Lord who’s faithfulness, righteousness and lovingkindness will allow you to reach and enjoy the spectacular view on the highest summits of your dreams.
With love always,
Monique
