Exceeding Great Reward
I saw a friend of mine today that I hadn’t seen in many years, but have known since elementary school. I believe my friend still holds most major track and field records at the elementary school. He was also a very good athlete throughout high school. The records were recorded on something like a four by eight sheet of painted plywood with two by four framing supports for the stand. The records have been posted for decades and now his grandchildren probably see the record at the same elementary school and feel inspired.
The Old Testament also had recorders in order to accurately log the history of major events of the Holy nation chosen by God out of all the nations of the earth to place His name in Zion. His chosen people the children of Israel also received the law from the hand of God to the hand of Moses. The bible also refers to ancient records of the Old Testament in the New in the book of Hebrews chapter eleven. This record often referred to as the hall of faith lists people whose faith shined through by their works to overcome the challenges they faced in their generation. People whose faith was seen by their works, for faith without works is dead, just as the body without the spirit is dead. Those courageous people of faith were recorded in scripture and still inspire souls today to take a stand for God, and to contend for the Christian faith.
The truth of the good news that Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. The good news that God prepared before the foundation of world that God would be in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. The preparation of His elect and chosen people to be a part of His majestic entrance into the world to take away the sin of the world. The bible records generation after generation in this chosen line from Abraham to David to the captivity, and to Christ with exactly fourteen generations separating each major event in world history.
Now, God’s election has reached even into the twenty-first century with the calling and election of people who have believed the report of Lord and by faith have responded to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank the Lord Jesus for these men and women who God has chosen to walk humbly with Him, and live their faith with good works in obedience to the commandments of the Lord. The commandments to love the Lord their God with all their heart soul mind and strength and to love their neighbor as themselves. \
The saints who visit the fatherless and the widow, the imprisoned, the sick, and help His precious little ones. The faith walkers who stand up against the murder of innocent children in the womb and wickedly as some state leaders are seeking to murder newborns and should be brought to justice swiftly for even proposing such incitement of violence and murder against a precious baby in the name of political wickedness. Political activism designed to deceive through terminology of death and evil (T.O.D.E). Killing a child is not pro choice it is pro murder.
The same likely murderous acts being investigated now in D.C. where healthy babies were killed, stacked, and shipped, while selling precious baby body parts to the highest bidder is being illegally allowed and not enforced by judges and why not? Thank the Lord for men and women of faith who do their best to stand against big businesses who take in millions from Christians in their businesses but invest millions into their political machines to financially support the campaigns of leaders who openly support the destruction of innocent children and openly support sodomy as well as other wicked practices which God warns against in His Holy Word, the Holy scriptures, the bible. The same biblical standards and Christian Judaeo values our nation was founded upon and recorded to promote Christianity. Thank the Lord for those faithful to speak the truth in love that God will judge for these things, and that people need to come out from among evil, fear the God of heaven and earth, repent, and be reconciled to God before time runs out or it is to late.
I heard a minister this week at a memorial ceremony say when he was younger that he loved trouble but one day decided he would take his own life, but his aunt said to him I am going to ask you one last time to go to church with me. He was glad to go and received the love of Jesus and gave his life to the Lord and now after nearly fifty years of ministry he is still glad he listened. If we draw nigh unto Him, He will draw nigh unto us. The record in the Old Testament book of Kings provides detailed accounts of the works of the kings of Israel generation after generation. Over and Over it records from God’s perspective whether the king did evil or he did good.
Whether the leader provoked God to anger by causing the people to sin and forsake their God, or whether they declared Gods laws be followed and adhered to in obedience for His righteousness sake. Some kings followed their fathers evil ways, but some were warned of God by the mouth of prophets or people of faith and turned to God. Many times when the kings turned to God and did good works by tearing down the idolatrous and evil practices in their nation, God would have mercy because He loved His people and His merciful lovingkindness endureth forever. He would turn from His fierce anger and deliver His people. However, when His own chosen people stiffened their necks and would not listen to the warnings God was giving to them through His messengers, God would send enemies against their land, deplete their wealth, and eventually allowed other nations, the Babylonians and Assyrians, to complete destroy their land and their lives, and carry them out of their homeland.
This is recorded history so America need not think she will escape the fierce wrath of Almighty God because she feels she is technologically advanced because graveyards are full of generations of people who may have thought they were above reproof. God has no respect of persons and He is the same yesterday today and forever. Thank the Lord for His righteous servants who pray for our nation to turn to God because the wicked stench of the state of sin and evil has debased so far to almost smell the smoky flames of hell fire as hell enlarges itself daily. Jesus came to save the whole world, and He offers His salvation to you today, so please don’t let the democratic party platforms, politically ungodly activism, culturally immoral practices, anti-Christian secular worldviews, or a man or woman take your crown for we shall all appear before the judgment.
Jesus suffered for our sins on the cross and died that day so we could call upon His name for Him to save us and believe that He is the son of God and that He rose from the dead and was seen by many witnesses after His resurrection. God allowed His only begotten son to suffer so you and I would have a chance for mercy and if and when we receive His grace and forgiveness of our sins by His own blood, we can believe in our hearts unto righteousness and confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus. The Lord can then record our names in the Lambs book of life and He can be our exceeding great reward.
Revelation 20
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
