You are warmly welcome to the new year 2021, the Lord will strengthen us to make the most of the journey ahead. All our dreams and aspirations shall find express fulfilment. Amen
Wisdom for LIFE is a Divine mandate, drawing inspirations from the word by exploring key spheres of life and enabling everyone to live a balanced life. We’re in the 4th year of publication making greater impacts.
The focus for our spiritual Sundays in January is captioned Growing in His Blessings. We are blessed of the Lord, just as a seed carries the blessing of a forest, it never manifests until it is planted John 12:24.
What are His blessings? These are supernatural favours that God bestows on His people making their life meaningful. Blessings are products of God’s hand in a man’s life. Joseph is an example.
God’s blessings make way for us in strange lands, commanding the attention of their strong men. God’s blessings open impossible doors unto a man and they bring our desires to reality.
However, accessing His blessing requires us to understand that all blessings belong to the Lord, the slain lamb, who is worthy to receive them (Rev. 5:12). When we give unto the Lord His blessings, we operate under open heavens.
Giving the Lord His blessings requires us to praise His holy name forevermore. We are to keep declaring His praises, singing of His marvellous deeds and honouring His name always.
Consistency in these things bring us a rain of blessings, first spiritually and then we can appropriate to other spheres of our lives. David was an addicted God praiser, he became a generational blessing.
Traditional drum beaters live on praising wealthy men. When they attend ceremonies, they praise them by their names, origins and the feats that they’ve accomplished. How much more our living God that inhabits our praises.
Therefore, growing in his blessings requires us to always be mindful of His praises. Sing aloud of His goodness when darkness thickens, glorify His holy name when situations are great, just keep calling His names.
I see you growing in spiritual blessings this month as you praise His name. Amen.
