Maverick City and Elevation Worship, amongst other amazing, talented gospel choir globally, have been breaking bounds and showing the world that we, Christians, are one.
“I will be content in any circumstance
You are Jireh, You are enough”.
The lyrics sums it all.
Contentment in situations is birthed out of what we know of him.
No matter how convincing a person is, if I don’t know him/her, I won’t believe that person cus there’s no closeness, no intimacy.
So when we say we know Christ as Jireh.
Do we?
Are we intimate with him?
Or when we say: “I’ll wait on you.”
Do we sincerely wait on Him.
Or do we find the infamous backup plans.
No one waits on who they don’t believe in
No one stays waiting if they don’t believe that the one they are waiting for will show up.
So as proclaiming is beautiful, acting it out is profound.
Let’s be ready to show, at all times, that He is Jireh to us.
That He is enough for us, and even more than enough even when our physical and ongoing situations reflect otherwise.
Remember: He is Jireh.
The most profound to the waiting on God is the acting it out…troubling moments indeed. But for his grace that is sufficient, it’s a time that is lessen, easily passed and the glory after spring us easily through the wait!
