Ezekiel Chapter 13: 22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life.
Therefore Christians with the heart of righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ and His mercy and grace need not be sad or believe lies for our redeemer liveth and Isaiah 52: 7 declares How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! However, the bible also warns not to turn the grace of God into lasciviousness.
In other words, if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sin. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Should we seek to persuade God or man of the coming judgment and wrath of Almighty God and His vengeance against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. Should we persuade God to accept sin after His only begotten son came to destroy the works of the devil and gave His life for a ransom.
He suffered being beaten, spit upon, pierced through His precious, holy, and innocent hands. He did nothing but good, healed the sick, raised the dead, forgave one recorded in scripture moments from being executed for their sin by saying ye without sin cast the first stone. He became a curse for us and was hung on a tree while being mocked and scorned, he suffered to take away sin. He is the same yesterday today and forever. He is not going to change His Holy Word for you, me, or anyone else as His Word is forever settled in the heavens.
He will receive a repentant heart as He that made the ear can He not hear. Saul persecuted Christians in the early church and even oversaw the death of Stephen, a saint full of faith and good works. Saul had an encounter with King Jesus the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and was temporarily blinded by the light. He was converted and his eyes were open both spiritually and naturally.
God showing a pattern of His great mercy and forgiveness. Remember, if you are hopeless Jesus can give you hope or if you seem to have everything your heart could desire, if you draw nigh unto Him, He will draw nigh unto you. However, don’t be deceived God is not mocked for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. The scripture teaches the turning away of the simple shall slay them and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
Wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence, but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it (Ecclesiastes 7: 12). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).
This is why Christians should bind together like Joab the captain of the host of Israel during the reign of King David when he was facing armies on both sides said to another captain that if one of them needed help during the battle the other will help. The truth is so vital because Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no man can come unto the Father but by Him. Jesus is the only name under heaven by which man must be saved.
This is why discerning the difference between truth and error becomes so vital because it involves life and death, heaven or hell, or at the judgment the second death which is the lake of fire. Of course, Jesus came to save the whole world. He does not force anyone to believe but teaches whosoever will let him come. He offers salvation freely and willingly. Is America like the city of Nineveh which Jonah was sent under God’s direction to warn them of their destruction unless they turned and repented. Additionally, John the baptist also preached bring forth fruit worthy of repentance.
Therefore, true repentance should be followed by evidence of good works. The time of the Judges of Israel wrought people doing what was right in their own eyes which led to repeated punishments for the nation of Israel until they cried out for mercy and He would have compassion upon them and help them.
So Christians need to bind together for the Lord in truth to tell people the truth of God’s word and message that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. God made man in His image and His likeness, male and female created He them, and His righteousness endureth foreveth. This is why it is so important that people proclaim the truth of marriage between a man and a woman as God’s righteous design. Truth does not need to lie in the street as sodomy kills according to the CDC which details it was started by one hundred percent of the original cases in large metropolitan areas by men committing sodomy. Not to mention, the aids virus which has been one of the deadliest diseases world wide in modern history with multiplied millions of deaths and is still a deadly epidemic.
So why, a vote? This is why Christians should vote biblical principles of righteousness and not simply economics or other issues. Will God hold accountable for voting for a party (democrat party platforms) or person that if elected could influence laws for the promoting of sodomy, sin, or killing children in the womb, or perverting impressionable children with trans confusion which equates to child abuse as children under federal law are supposed to be taught abstinence in public school programs. Are people deceived or are being deceived by wolves in sheep clothing? Are some politicians falsely claiming faith to gain an evangelical vote when their policies are contrary to biblical values?
The scripture warns of those who confess God with their mouth, but in their works they deny Him being abominable. Recently in an interview, an African-American Christian woman was asked why she was leaving the democrat party. She replied that the democrat party was basically persecuting her faith and her church. Another example involved the Kentucky clerk who refused to sign a marriage certificate because of her earnestly held biblical beliefs and was jailed. Maybe the first time in American history someone was jailed for upholding their Christian values. Of course, she won the case but not before many court battles mainly over first amendment rights and sodomy laws.
Are some Christians directly or indirectly supporting in policy what the bible warns against? Some may not know and some may not care, and yet others may be poised to inflict deceit. However, our republic was built on being able to choose the representatives with hopefully the values our nation was founded upon which are the Christian Judaeo values of our Christian heritage. History is certain that the earliest forms of founding documents to establish governance in this nation were directed to the advancement of the Christian faith and its guidance throughout. Why then do some seek to silence the free speech of Christian churches by utilizing the Johnson amendment to threaten their tax exemption status.
This is why Christians should pray for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. The scripture also teaches if my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The balance in understanding the signs of the times by watching as well as praying allows us to consider 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 which reveals
(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Where are we on the timeline of God’s righteous judgment and justice? Just how close are we as the bible teaches His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge and there would be a time when they would not endure sound doctrine? It is one thing to say I made a mistake and I know the mistake I made and confess and repent of it. It is quite another to say God accepts what the bible considers abomination, wicked, and vile as what is highly esteemed among men is abomination to God referring to people justifying themselves before men; but God knoweth the hearts.
How is someone going to turn from sin, if they are deceived into thinking God is fine with their so-called lifestyle. How subtle the terminology of death to seek to deceive by twisting sins of sodomy and accompanying ones into some sort of pseudo right. God is love and He hates evil because it hurts other people and themselves. The scripture unveils that lust when it is conceived brings forth sin, and when sin hath conceived it brings forth death. These spiritual laws are in effect and whatever falls upon the rock shall be crushed and whatever the rock falls upon shall be crushed.
This is why we are instructed to speak the truth in love. The flesh and spirit warfare is very real and we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This is why Philippians chapter two is so powerful because Jesus the Son of Almighty God by whom all things were made that were made, and all things were made by him and for Him. He has to humble Himself to behold the things of earth, the heavens His throne and the earth is His footstool. Yet it is proclaimed in Philippians two for us to let each esteem other better than themselves,…to let this same mind be in us which was also in Christ Jesus.
Amazing how God can take a wretch who will humble themselves, O what a wretched man that I am, and create in them a pure heart and by His blood make their conscience completely clean and give peace and a new life. If any man be in Christ Jesus He is a new creature old things have passed away. Behold all things are made new.
I recently saw a story about a young man who left the church and bought the lie being deceived into sodomy. The church elders were faithful and continued to reach out and mentor him to try and bring him back into the fold. The young man eventually did repent and returned to the church and his comments are a stark witness to the truth overcoming darkness. The young man responded to the affect that the wrong way which seemed so glamorous to allure him turned out to actually be misery. He warned Christians not to lie by telling them God accepts sodomy but to be honest so the caring and concern for their souls would make a difference. Strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth to life.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
