Why do I do the very thing I shouldn’t?
And why don’t I do what I should do?
I cannot be the holy child I’m meant to be without you Holy Spirit

And even though I have your words
to guide my life to lead me in perfection
My selfishness often wins the race.
I cannot be saved without you Jesus
I cannot be saved without you.
And when you say to love you with all of my heart
Often other things take your place
I’m sorry God because you deserve all my love
But I cannot love without you God
No I cannot love without you.
So make me new Lord
Just as you promised
Daily give me freedom
to walk away from Me
And all the lies that surround my mind
Let your truth transform me
For I can only be holy by you
And I can only be saved by you
I can only love with you by my side
This is my prayer
Transform my life
Do only what you can do, God
Do only what you can do,
