1) Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
(2) Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
(3) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
…..preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

How wonderful it is to know that while on this straight and narrow pilgrim road the Lord has walked it too, and He walks with us through all the challenges and circumstances of our days while preserving us for His good purpose. This is especially comforting knowing He himself has been touched with the feelings of our infirmities. This is what makes His glorious mercy so sweet because we couldn’t earn this great love by working hard enough or even suffering long enough; by His mercy He saved us. Now please think about the peace He gives and can give even through the midst of trials and tribulations or in the midst of joy and celebration, harvest, or feasting. The mercy, peace, and Love, be multiplied: The Fathers love to His children was exemplified as He proclaimed His Mighty and Majestic name before Moses in the holy mount to visit His people and give them the ten commandments that would help preserve them in the truth and righteous judgment of God for His chosen nation and people.
Fast forward generations to a young girl named Mary and an angel proclaiming His name shall be called Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus Christ the son of the living God sent to save His people in flesh and blood from their sins. The love and salvation He would give His own life on a cruel cross for the sins of the whole world, even for those who don’t understand and who walk in darkness. The Lord offers great light in the glorious gospel of the resurrected king of glory, a hope that will last for all eternity when the world is no more or when men of generations have returned to the dust with their thoughts and imaginations. The regeneration of those souls that Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and repent of their sins to believe in their heart unto righteousness and confess with their mouths unto salvation. They will live forever, the resurrection from the dead as the savior promised He would rise from the dead and fulfilled, and promises He will return that where He is we may be also.
The preservation is the way to go, the way of righteousness, the straight and narrow way. However, we must keep ourselves in the love of God as the holy scriptures in the book of Jude exhort because the wrath of God will destroy the wicked. The exhortation also expounds how the angels who left their first estate are reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. While the Lord would that none should perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth, He also knows how to accomplish justice and bring the guilty, who reject the love of the truth and love darkness rather than light into the grasps of the eternal flames within the lake of fire where the worm dieth not and the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.
