All the world watched in disbelief and shock when President Trump reached to touch his ear as bullets soared through the air around him. After gazing upon his bloodied hand, he fell to the ground as onlookers were frozen in fear of what might of have happened.
It quickly became evident that a powerful unseen force initiated an attack to end Trump’s life because he is an “HVT”- High Value Target.
The term “HVT” was given to Osama Bin Laden who orchestrated the attacks on the United States on 9.11.2001. All the most elite and talented forces were focused on training to perfect their skills and energies upon him – because Bin Laden possessed the greatest influence and power to destroy us. In the military, significant resources are not wasted on those with little or no influence, but are primarily utilized on those who can do the most damage.
It can be reasonably argued that Trump is the highest level HVT in our modern day world in eyes of those who are threatened by his strength and purpose. While Trump does not have vast and notable Biblical knowledge, wisdom and understanding -and there are doubters that question his personal relationship with Jesus Christ- he is obviously a willing vessel used of God to fight and win battles which strengthen all Americans- especially those who know, love and serve the Lord. Therefore, he is most hated by the Kingdom of Darkness-as evidenced by how much he and his family are relentlessly and perpetually attacked. The mission God inspired for him to do can positively affect our personal lives, our nation and the entire world. Therefore He has been elevated to the highest level of HVT assignments. In recognition of this, God reveals to us our part in the success of Trump and all HVT leaders with levels of high authority:
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness an holiness” I Timothy 2:1-2 (NIV)
With the miraculous intervention of God to save Trump on July 13th, 2024, when an assassin’s bullet barely missed it’s intended purpose, we are reminded of the vital importance to be dedicated in prayer for Trump and other HVT’S in the highest levels of authority -so we, too, can better overcome in our positions of lower HVT levels.
Every born again believer in Jesus Christ is a spiritual HVT. All Christians are targeted. But, if you are a significant threat through your position, influence, resources, are a prayer warrior–and/or have great potential (such as young children and those with considerable talents and abilities), then you will become a ” High Value Target!” The greater the level of your mission, your calling, your purpose and your potential-the greater your attacks as an HVT.
As a spiritual HVT, we are targeted by high levels of principalities and powers who work through difficult people, overwhelming circumstances- and even such “insignificant” things as crashing computers, disrupted phone and internet service, debilitating sickness, broken autos, family struggles, challenging finances, accusatory acquaintances and even angry strangers – to do all possible to stop us from success and victory. The enemy cannot have what he wants most- our souls. Therefore, he incessantly attacks us with all things around us to discourage us, weaken us, financially limit us, exhaust us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually- so we cannot be and become all God created us for. And, like Trump, the enemy seeks to threaten and extinguish the life of Spiritual HVT’s. However, in the same manner that we witnessed with Trump, God can and does do what is considered “miraculous” to protect us as we pray without ceasing. What is “impossible” with man, IS possible with God!
“For we wrestle not against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies– the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule the world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the evil world ( Ephesians 6:12 NLT)
It is the elite of demonic forces that attack spiritual HVT’s. They may not be permitted to take our lives, but they can be effective in extinguishing the light of our lives. As Christians, we are referred to as the “light of the world.” Darkness cannot survive when there is light. As a spiritual HVT, the light of our lives is a powerful spotlight that exposes and destroys darkness on a massive scale. Likewise, a spiritual HVT reminds us of being much like a “direct energy weapon” against the kingdom of darkness from which our enemy has no chance to survive.
We can all agree that through much prayer–there is much power.
Prayer is the only weapon that defeats the inevitable attacks as a Spiritual HVT!
