Recently, I watched a YouTube video interview that featured a woman struggling to live in an underdeveloped country. The woman told the reporter that she was not able to get enough food to eat and therefore was no longer producing breastmilk to feed her baby. Resting on her lap, her baby cried out as if in pain. I will never forget the pain etched on the mother’s face as she looked at her child who seemed to be struggling to live.
I cannot imagine how the emotional and physical pain this mother felt as she watched her baby. Let us remember to pray for and help those who are starving and hurting all over the world.
“In all things, I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive”. Acts 20:35
