There is a great country song on this topic that covers it perfectly. It suggests that doing good things in a humble way brings positive energy back to you. When you achieve your goals, reflect on your success, but remain humble. Be sure to appreciate how you got there. You deserve the positive feelings of the achievement.
While you’re enjoying your successful feeling, be good to others and help those who are following in your footsteps. Help them get to where they want to go. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping someone achieve their goals. Being humble and kind doesn’t mean you are not a fighter, or you don’t have grit. I’ve seen the most competitive people in sports and business fight to win (fairly) but have a heart of gold while appreciating their success and setbacks … and they stay humble through the process. They then give the same determined effort to help others succeed. People who are humble and kind are very attractive spirits. Many gravitate to them.
