Tips for Your Tuesday
Hello friends. Ever tried to go on a road trip and still eat healthy? We recently traveled to Michigan by car, traveling through the mountains of West Virginia and the farm lands of Ohio. The land is absolutely gorgeous, but the options for eating healthy are slim. No offense to you guys in WV and OH, but where we were journeying, hiking and camping along the way, we were lucky to find anything open or have cell service. Planning ahead and a cooler is key. Many grocery stores supply healthy to go options to pick up before your adventure: sandwiches, prepared salads, lots of fruits and veggies to snack on. The best snackable fruits on a long car ride are cherries and grapes. Homemade veggie burgers are great in the cooler, along with packing small containers of mustard and banana peppers to spice things up a little. And don’t forget the reliable PB&J. We made it to our destination intact, bellies full, and lots a great stories to tell. I posted a video on Hope for Pain’s social media sites to check out. Go to Instagram or twitter and check out @thehopeforpain for our adventure.
