True Independence for the Ages

True Independence for the Ages

Mankind’s journey began in the garden of Eden with wonderful liberty in the paradise of God’s beautiful creation. God made man in His image and His likeness, male and female created He them. They had access to the amazing variety of trees and fruit of the garden and to the tree of life. They were able to eat of all the trees within the paradise garden except one. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was the only tree they were not allowed to partake. The most incredible part of their divine dwelling place was their communion with their heavenly Father who visited His creation. Genesis chapter three verse eight…and they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. So, this wonderful paradise home created for them richly to enjoy and fellowship with their God to whom the heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool became a hiding place because they disobeyed the voice of the Lord. This led to the loss of liberty and loss of access to the paradise created for them to enjoy because of the deception of sin and separation from God.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. This truth rings so true in the light that the Lord’s greatness is unsearchable and His understanding infinite. There are things we may not know or fully understand regarding the judgments of God and counsels in heaven.  The beloved psalmist proclaimed “thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence (Psalms 139: 5,6, & 7)? The Lord knows right where we are on the earth geographically, but more important He knows right where we are spiritually. He knows our state whether as an individual, a nation, or the state of mankind as a whole within the timeline of the righteous judgment of God.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (Revelation 1: 7,8). Jesus was also in a garden on this earth in the flesh because God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.  And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground (Luke 22: 41-44). Thank the Lord Jesus, the Son of God, who gave up His paradise temporarily so we could have the opportunity to live with Him in His and have eternal life instead of eternal death. The first man lost the liberty given to him by disobeying the commandment of the Lord. The Lord Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the whole world so mankind could be reconciled from separation from our holy heavenly Father through faith in Jesus Christ His son. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us (I John 3: 23,24). Romans 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
