For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Today Christian’s face many challenges within these last days generations. The amazing hope of the knowledge that God is good, His mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth to all generations means that includes our generation and those of our children according to the time of Jesus’ return. He who made the seeing eye and the hearing ear surely knows how to send his message to the next generation through His holy book. How wonderfully powerful the scriptures spoken to the hearts of people ages ago and to their offspring, while still being read and spoken to multitudes this very day as Jesus is seeking and saving that which is lost.
Psalms 143:10
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
What a sincere and humble request for the Lord to teach us to do His will. Once one has trusted in the Saviors’ everlasting arms for initial salvation through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, then a commitment and searching for guidance in one’s life seems like a next step for direction to fulfill God’s perfect purpose and will. Lovingly this request continues with thy spirit is good. Once again, we feel our heavenly Fathers heart of righteousness, comfort, and assurance that God’s spirit will certainly lead us in the right direction for our lives because His spirit is good.
Hebrews 11:20
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
The question is now to our generation; will we be a people who take the banner of faith and carry it through the fire to the next generation. The fire of attacks from within and without. Voices of lies which claim sins which the scriptures warn against, through deceptive terminology like inclusiveness within the church because a misguided culture seeks to destroy to truth knowingly or unknowingly. Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure because He knows those who are His. Therefore, by faith we are encourage to bless our children, naturally and spiritually, concerning things to come. One of the best ways to bless them is to teach them the truth of the gospel. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world. The love of God through Jesus Christ changes hearts and minds, turns from darkness to light, and gives great hope for the future which is everlasting life.
