Why I Wrote Hannah’s Heart Awakens

I didn’t write Hannah’s Heart Awakens to simply tell a story.

I wrote it to give children something I know they need—

a real understanding that God is near, that He speaks, and that His love is personal.

The vision for The Hannah Series has lived in me since childhood. At a young age, I experienced God in a way that stayed with me. It wasn’t something I could fully explain then, but I knew I had been seen, heard, and loved by Him.

As I grew older, I began to understand that what I experienced wasn’t just meant for me to hold onto—it was meant to be shared.

Children today are growing up in a world filled with noise, confusion, and pressure. And while so many messages compete for their attention, one of the most important truths can be easily missed:

That God is not distant.

He is present.

He listens.

He guides.

He loves them—right where they are.

Hannah’s Heart Awakens was created to introduce that truth in a way a child can understand.

Through Hannah’s journey, children are invited into a space where faith feels real—not distant or complicated, but something they can experience in their everyday lives.

This book is not just about a moment.

It is about awakening something deeper within the heart—

a recognition of God’s presence that stays with them as they grow.

The Hannah Series is more than a collection of stories.

It is my kingdom assignment.

An assignment to help children understand that God is not far away…

that He speaks, that He listens, and that His love is real.

This is not something I created on my own.

This is something I was entrusted with.

And I carry it with intention—knowing that every word, every page, and every story has the potential to reach a child right when they need it most.

And for parents, whether you are just beginning or have already been pouring into your child’s faith, this is a tool to help nurture a relationship with God that is real, present, and personal in a way children can understand.

If there is anything I hope children take from this story, it is this:

God is not far away.

He sees you.

He hears you.

He walks with you.

Always.
