Why We Win
Revelation 1: 8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
…Saith the Lord, which Is
Thank the Lord this Mother’s Day for those precious mothers and grandmothers who raised their family or are currently raising their families in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. O how wonderful to think about mothers teaching their children the truth about God and His son Jesus Christ who came in the flesh to save the world. O how wonderful to think about children memorizing the Holy scriptures and feeling the love and hope the Holy Spirit brings. The Old Testament teaches that Israel was commanded to teach the next generation about the mighty works and testimonies God did for the children of Israel during the time of Moses and the parting the Red Sea. The teaching and leading of the next generation in the fear of God so they would obey the commandments of the Lord and walk in His ways and be blessed. I remember teaching fifth grade at a local Christian Academy and seeing the peace flow over the students faces when they heard the biblical answers to the many questions and concerns of their young minds and precious hearts.
…and which Was
Thank the Lord for His wonderful Word and message handed down to mankind.
2 Peter 1: 21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The Lord Jesus which Was taught during His ministry that people should repent for the kingdom of God is at hand, repent ye and believe the gospel. O how wonderful to watch young men and women who have believed the gospel because they were raised by a mom and dad who walked with the Lord and did good works. Those strong young believers who boldly live out their faith and share the good news with others. The young people of faith who will raise up the foundations of many generations in the faith because the Spirit of Lord has been poured out upon them to fulfill His loving purpose for their lives. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ this past week I watched a young man pray to receive eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ the son of God. The young man has had many challenges in his young life because his father had been in prison since before he was born and was recently released. However, now he has new hope that the Lord will be with Him all his days and that like John 3:16 promises he will have everlasting life for believing in Jesus.
…and which Is to come
The wonderful promise in the book of Daniel teaches that the saints will possess the kingdom.
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
The truth is that while the scriptures near the ones above from Daniel 7 speak of the persecution of the saints during the time of fourth kingdom, the Ancient of days came.
I John 2
12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
Be reconciled to God!
