All discoveries take purposeful intent. In 1951, a British navy research team on their vessel, armed with Sonar, took to Guam’s deep waters to achieve their aim of finding out the depth, width, and length of the Mariana Trench. In this voyage, the deepest point on the planet had been discovered. A point, 7 miles (11.26 km) deep in the southern part of the Mariana Trench. This discovery delighted the team!
Do we purposefully search the deepest places of our hearts and souls to enjoy a fuller and truer life? Maybe it is scary to go there!
“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19
Our hearts and souls are the deepest parts of being. To discover the depth, width, length Christ want to be that vessel that enters in to our hearts and souls to make the biggest discovery that we are truly LOVED.
With love always,
Monique
